Is it true that I can wear any kind of bra I want?
Yes. Including underwire. There may be specific recommendations, but the choice is yours. Most patients start wearing a bra on the second or third day. Of course, as you are getting accustomed to your new breasts, you may want to watch closely for any signs that the new bras might be irritating the skin. At first, while there is swelling present, the bras may not fit well, and some women like to temporarily remove the underwires for comfort during that time.
