Is it true that implants have a lifetime warranty?
Yes. The implant manufacturers have such confidence in their implants that theyhave a lifetime replacement plan for them, providing a new implant without charge if an implant leaks. In addition, if such a deflation should occur within the first ten years, the implant manufacturer will even help with the costs of the replacement surgery itself. And moreover, an extended warranty is available which will assist with the costs of replacing the other side as well.
It is important to mention one thing to clear up a frequently-repeated misconception. The warranty is honored, and is not voided, when the implants are put in through the navel
